Vicious dogs killed at the Indianapolis International Airport
Posted on August 07, 2011 by Ronald Todd
The Indianapolis International Airport reported that two aggressive pit bulls were shot and killed that had wandered onto airport property. An Indiana State Police officer was getting out of a police vehicle when the dogs approached. One of the dogs became aggressive towards the officer. The officer shot at the dog and wounded it. The dog fled to another building on airport property. The officers tracked the animals and when the second dog charged an airport officer, it was shot and killed. The other pit bull fled to a nearby space close to a hotel property. Because the dog was aggressive, airport operations personnel feared the dog would attack hotel patrons and others on the airport property. The dog was shot and killed.
