Workers were installing a metal fence near energized power lines. One of the workers vertically held a panel. The panel contacted the power lines. The worker received electrocution injuries.
Prevention of Construction Fatalities from Electrocution Injuries

- Employers must not permit employees to work near electrocution construction site hazards unless the employees are protected against electric shock by de-energizing the power lines, grounding the power lines or guarding the power lines by insulation or other means (29 CFR 1910.416(a)(1)).
