Tank Exploded and Kills Worker

Explosion during Structural Steel Erection

Workers were installing brackets to a fuel storage tank. While they were wielding the brackets, the tank was half full and had explosive vapors. A spark during the wielding process ignited the vapors. The ensuing explosion killed one worker and severely injured another.
